IMCES Geophysical Observatory SB RAS (GO IMCES)
The infrastructure of the geophysical observatory is located on the territory of the Institute in Akademgorodok, in the southeastern suburban area of Tomsk (56°28'31" N 85°3'16" E., altitude above sea level 167 m). There are several measuring points on the geographical observatory.: 1. A large two-level meteorological complex (BDMK), consisting of two thermometers AMK-04, has a 40 m high weather mast.
One thermal anemometer is installed at a height of 30 m, which coincides with the height of the forest canopy, the second thermal anemometer is installed at a height of 40 m. Both
thermoanemometers operate at a frequency of 80 Hz. The complex allows monitoring over the canopy of the underlying surface.
2. A small two-level meteorological complex consisting of two AMK-04 thermal anemometers mounted on a 10 m high weather mast
is located at the lower meteorological site 90 m north of the BDMK. From the north and west, the observation points are covered by a building with a variable height
from 11 to 21 meters. From the south and south-east there is a small forest area with a height of up to 30 m. AMK - they operate at a frequency of 80 Hz. The site allows monitoring in the canyon formed by the buildings of the institute.
3.The upper weather platform. One thermal anemometer AMK-04 is installed on the upper weather platform, located on a weather mast with a height of 8 m,
at a distance of 95 m to the northeast of the BDMK. AMK-operates at a frequency of 10 Hz.

OGBU Oblkompriroda The observation point is located in the "center" of Tomsk (56°28'2" N 84°57'27" E, 112 m above sea level) in the southwestern part of the city, which is a typical urbanized territory of Tomsk. The maximum building height of this part of the city does not exceed 5-8 floors. There are no industrial or thermal power facilities in the vicinity of this point. To the west of the observation point, at a distance of 600 m, there is a decrease in the landscape in the flesh to the floodplain of the Tom River., to the south and east, the height of the landscape does not change, to the north there is a slight decrease in the landscape. The building of OGBU Oblkompriroda, on the roof of which a meteorological complex is installed on the weather mast, is the tallest building within a radius
of 800m. The height of the weather tower above the roof plane is 12 m. The height of the thermoanemometer above ground level is 30 m. AMK-operates at a frequency of 20 Hz.
